Hannover Messe: NanoFocus AG exhibits 3D surface metrology systems for optimal quality assurance
At Hannover Messe (hall 17, booth C48/31), NanoFocus AG, developer and manufacturer of optical 3D surface measurement systems and software for the characterization of technical surfaces, presents its optical 3D measurement systems. The high-resolution surface analysis tools are ideally suited for quality assurance during production and development. They help users in optimizing their production processes and in manufacturing error-free goods. Surface characteristics in the micro and nanometer scale are decisive in raising functional properties and the quality of product to the highest degree. With the help of optical 3D metrology, precise surface characteristics can be determined quickly and non-destructively. These allow for the development of efficient production methods and improved products. “Our measurement technology is instrumental in lowering production costs and in delivering error-free products”, says Jürgen Valentin, Chief Technology Officer of NanoFocus AG.The confocal measuring method of NanoFocus produces rich-in-depth images in the sub-micrometer level and measurements with high repeat accuracy. It is ideally suited to determine roughness parameters conform to DIN EN ISO, micro geometry, micro and nanovolume or layer thickness of samples with different material properties. The 3D surface measurement systems determine typical wear parameters as well as the processing quality of surfaces. Previous preparation of the samples is not required. Due to robust data acquisition, the systems deliver highly precise measurement results even in rough production environments.
