It is the ideal solution for 3D shape inspections, bump inspections on wafers and substrates, and laser weld inspections. The μsprint sensors are based on a high-resolution, exceptionally fast confocal microscope. With the confocal measurement principle, an optical system projects a laser dot onto a surface. The optical system focuses the reflected light on a detector equipped with a pinhole and analyzes the maximum light intensity. This technology permits highly precise and fast measurements independent of the surface color or structure.
As a standalone solution for laboratories, with machine safety enclosure for industrial production environments, or as an OEM solution the μsprint sensors can be inegrated flexibly and easily.
